The spacious and well-appointed apartments are built on the hillside site of the historic Rhodes Convalescent Hospital. Social life for the residents is supported by the Rhodes Cafe, regular exercise classes in the gym, social spaces a library and workshop. The project was constructed in and around the existing village and incorporates a full basement and commercial kitchen and laundry facilities.
Barnes Beagley Doherr is built on a legacy reaching decades back into the world of quantity surveying in New Zealand. In 2013 Simon Barnes, Scott Beagley and David Doherr chose to challenge the traditional corporate model and started a new company built around clients, good people and an environment that supports both.
