St Peter’s church located in Riccarton Christchurch sustained significant damage in the 2010 and 2011 earthquakes. Repairs and strengthening works were carried out on elements of the building that were able to be retaining. The design incorporated a new chapel that is separate from the main church, a spacious sanctuary, and a large social space with a kitchen for gatherings after the service. The original stained glass windows have been preserved and reused within the reinstatement.
Barnes Beagley Doherr is built on a legacy reaching decades back into the world of quantity surveying in New Zealand. In 2013 Simon Barnes, Scott Beagley and David Doherr chose to challenge the traditional corporate model and started a new company built around clients, good people and an environment that supports both.
